If you were CEO of McDonalds, what would you do to drive revenue? My colleagues and I have a game of asking difficult questions to exercise our minds, typically aimed at spicing up lunch conversation.
One question puzzled me until my puzzler was sore. Why do commercial toilet seats have open fronts? I searched the web and even got my wife obsessing to find the answer. Finally, my wife, who is smarter than I am, emailed Bemis, a large toilet seat manufacture.
According to Betty at Bemis, not all commercials have open fronts but many do. The perception is that the open front makes the seat easier to clean. As it turns out, it is purely a matter of personal preference.
